Sunday Service
Please join us Sunday Mornings in the pavilions at Hawksnest Beach on St John. Worship begins at 10AM. Or you can watch live on our Facebook page or Youtube.
Freshwater Church meets for a Worship Service every Sunday morning at 10:00 AM. We meet in the Pavilion at Hawksnest Beach on St. John’s north shore. We may lack walls and stained-glass windows, but the testimony of God’s creation is all around us!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Dress is casual, some even wearing bathing suits and cover-ups for a post-Church swim in the ocean. The Pastor may even be preaching barefoot! Our order of Service is: Welcome, Prayer, Congregational Singing, Sermon from the Word Of God (the Bible), Congregational Singing, Closing Prayer. Our service lasts about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes.
During the Sermon we provide Children’s Church for kids aged 3 to 10 with a Bible story, craft and snack.
Most Sundays we provide coffee, water and light snacks for everyone.
Once a month, we have a potluck lunch after worship service. We hope you will stay and enjoy some post service fellowship.
Our Facebook page has the most up-to-date information on all our activities. (@FreshwaterChurchVI). We’d love to see you in God’s outdoor sanctuary!
Over 1400 vacationers a year visit Freshwater Church on the beach. We welcome you with open arms and look forward to worshiping with you and learning about how we can minister to your needs.
