From Afar – Second Church!

Freshwater Church enjoys a rich relationship with the local community, constantly holdingout Jesus Christ as the Savior of the world and encouraging everyone to have an intimate relationship with Him. We also enjoy the participation of visitors to the island of St John, with hundreds of vacationers every year who take time to worship and fellowship with us on the beach. Many also join us for one of our home Bible Study gatherings. Through the years, over repeated visits, our members have developed warm fellowship with these visitors and in return some visitors ask how they can stay involved with Freshwater Church from afar.

 Welcome to ‘Second Church”. This is our name for this growing group of committed individuals who have found their hearts knitted together with ours by God’s hands with the purpose of seeing God’s Kingdom displayed on St John. We cherish the prayers, the offers of sending hard to obtain supplies, the sending of mission teams, and the financial support provided by these individuals. Through their commitment, Freshwater Church has a larger impact on St John than we can achieve alone.

Second Church is not a one-way relationship. We want to pray for you and know how we can be a blessing in your life. Staying in communication during the year, we are encouraged by the stories of how God is working everywhere in the world!
